Automatic Optical Inspection is used for series and complex assemblies. A test programme is created from the CAD data and the assemblies are automatically checked for soldering errors, misalignment, polarity reversal, etc. using cameras. The system can also read codes and component labelling or check soldering and connections using angled view inspection. 

Any errors are automatically documented with images and can be called up at the separate helpdesk to correct the assembly
