In addition to functional tests, assemblies can also be tested using flying probe testers. In combination with AOI, a test depth of up to 95 per cent can be achieved. This is particularly useful if assemblies cannot be programmed in-house and a functional test cannot be carried out as a result. A wide variety of data formats can be processed for programming.
